Photographer Tony Ibarra took advantage of being high over his subjects to capture these long shadows. The result is that the shadows are far more interesting in the frame than the people themselves.

This photograph from John Ulaszek is all about the timing. The skateboarder’s full body is within the frame of the window, and it would look much different if his arm or leg were partially out of sight. The three levels of progressive dark to light add nicely to the layers of this image.

A most intriguing shot from Exposed DC photography show alum Blink Ofanaye. Instead of trying to interpret the image, I think the Flickr tags assigned to it by our photographer sum it up rather nicely: peacocks, home, beautiful, house, quaint, queer, decor, woman, magnifying glass.

Yes, this is an adorable dog in a swimming pool. Alone, this would be very cute, but when you add the person in the background it becomes a funny large dog sniffing a little person’s butt. Thanks gerdaindc, you can’t ask for more than that.
