  • Winners of the third edition of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation’s Environmental Photography Award were announced this week.
  • First Fridays, the free art walk around Dupont Circle, is tonight from 6-8 p.m. Swing by Studio Gallery to see Beverly Logan’s “What We See” exhibit before it closes next weekend.
  • Women Photograph announced their 2023 mentorship class that pairs five early career photographers with an industry leader over the course of six months.
  • The Professional Photographers of America (PPA) is accepting submissions from PPA members through September 5 for the International Photographic Competition. There are 16 categories and $26,000 in cash prizes up for grabs. Entry fee is $49/image.
  • Touchstone Gallery is hosting an Attainable Art Show & Party on July 29. Tickets start at $75 and include the selection of artwork to be determined by your ticket level and a number selected upon entrance to the event.
  • An exhibition at the Tate Modern focuses on contemporary African photography and features 36 artists who represent different generations and mediums across the continent.
  • Rick Ruggles and Denis Wamaling’s “Pixels & Patterns” exhibition opens July 22 at the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex.
  • The Phase One XC medium format camera dons a 23mm fixed lens, a 150-megapixel sensor, and a $62,000 price tag.
