USA vs Germany by Victoria Pickering
USA vs Germany by Victoria Pickering

For better or for worse, the World Cup is everywhere you look at the moment. This was especially true on Thursday as the USA faced Germany in a bid to advance to the next stage. Unlead Cash, Unlead Credit by brunofish

At first glance, this is just a nicely framed shot with interesting geometry of lines and textures. But when you take a closer look, you start to notice the interesting positions and behaviors of the people under the watchful gaze of their pigeon overlord. Well done brunofish.

Priests | Black Cat | 6/2/14 by Michael Andrade

Photographer Michael Andrade strikes again. Andrade has a soft spot for shooting close-ups at live shows, and this time he gets in the face of Priests’ vocalist Katie Alice Greer with fantastic results.

Make Yourself Comfortable by Miki J.
Make Yourself Comfortable by Miki J.

Once again my eye has been caught by a shot that’s crying out for an explanation. Photographer Miki J. uses a humorous title to accompany the image, perhaps keeping the real story from us for effect.
