Hello photo people! This weekend was quintessentially D.C. Whether you went to the inauguration, or were one of the estimated 500,000 people to march the streets, I was proud to see so many photographers actively making images. Instead of one image, I thought today I would share some of my favorite frames fueled by this weekend’s political energy.

Today I created a portrait project on young women protesting the Inauguration. This is Maria Vollmar, a 20 year-old from Berkeley, California to march in the Women's March on Washington. "I'm not here to protest. I'm here to show the people we will stand up for them." #youngwomenmarch
