"Doggy Swim" by Gerdaindc
“Doggy Swim” by gerdaindc

Yes, this is an adorable dog in a swimming pool. Alone, this would be very cute, but when you add the person in the background it becomes a funny large dog sniffing a little person’s butt. Thanks gerdaindc, you can’t ask for more than that.

"Untitled" by JY O'Reilly
“Untitled” by JY O’Reilly

Seeing this shot from JY O’Reilly in our Flickr pool this morning just made me smile. But it’s not only the humor of the person leaping that makes this photo — add the blocks of coordinated colors, the recurring geometric shapes and the great framing, and you’ve got yourself a winner.

Untitled by Chris Suspect
Untitled by Chris Suspect

Photographer Chris Suspect took this image a few weeks ago on Tangier Island. Consistent with his personal style, he captured this man exactly where he should be in the frame at the precise moment he was doing something peculiar. You can enjoy more of Suspect’s work on his flickr page.

“91 – 13” by JAMES ANTHONY CAMPBELL

The complexity of the mundane encapsulated in the simplest of subjects, that’s what photographer JAMES ANTHONY CAMPBELL manages to achieve in the framing of this iPhone shot.

Light at the End of the Tunnel by Noe Todorovich
Light at the End of the Tunnel by Noe Todorovich

Photographer Noe Todorovich took this iphone photograph of a man walking near Pentagon City. She waited for him to step out of the deep, geometrically shaped shadows and created an excellent frame for him in the light.
