  • Join local photographers Albert Ting and Austin Graff tomorrow at noon and 2:00 p.m. respectively for photo tours exploring Georgetown’s best photo ops in conjunction with Away’s new store launch. You can grab some complimentary snacks and refreshments in the store beforehand.
  • Critical Exposure is looking for a Development Manager to bring thoughtful, reliable, and creative implementation to mission-aligned ways of resourcing the organization. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with a priority deadline of October 16.
  • Matthew Phipps will have an artist talk, book presentation, and short film premier on October 15 at Lost Origins Gallery.

  • DC History Center’s “On The Square” community event will shine a spotlight on Carnegie Library and Mount Vernon Square on October 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free but registration is highly recommended to gain additional perks.
  • A nationwide photography contest for K-12 students is open for submissions through October 16.
