In Frame: June 22, 2016

And just like that it receded into the fog of a dream | ombré hues over a foggy Lake Pontchartrain

It was difficult to pick today’s In Frame, but this image took me to an unexpected and much needed place of comfort and security. Brooke Linkow’s beautiful image and poetic caption, “And just like that it receded into the fog of a dream…,” lulls my mental tension and I am overcome with a sense of calm. I imagine myself floating above the lake feeling moisture from the fog and lake on my face, receding to the dream Brooke describes.
