Even seeing this as a small thumbnail on my computer screen, I instinctively thought of Edward Hopper’s Nighthawks painting. Here, Tim Brown has a great eye for drawing the viewer directly through the illuminated window pane to the casual diners. Nighthawks is one of my favorite paintings to study and I am thrilled to see other photographs share the same affinity.
