• Focus on the Story will be awarding a $2,000 grant and a Fujifilm XT-4 gear package to a single photographer to help them begin and complete a community-driven project that tells a compelling and impactful visual story. Proposals are being accepted through June 18.

Earlier this week, we announced some exciting news! We are partnering with Focus on the Story and Lost Origins Gallery to present the 15th annual Exposed DC Photography Show in an outdoor installation in Mount Pleasant this summer. A special celebration will take place on Sunday, June 6 at 3 p.m. as part of the kickoff for the fourth annual Focus on the Story International Photo Festival. We are also exploring additional, creative ways to share the winning images to ensure increased accessibility and safe opportunities to view the show.
