In Frame: August 24, 2015

I was allowed to roam around the Strathmore on my own earlier today, and I had the darkened music hall all to myself. For someone who once was first chair in his high school orchestra, played countless piano recitals, and sang in a number of choirs growing up, the experience was nostalgic and incredible. #igdc #acreativedc

This is a spectacular photograph by Albert Ting. It’s so grand but also eerie to see a music hall of great popularity devoid of any activity. I can only image how much more exciting this experience was for a photographer—or any person—who has stood on that stage gazing back on an admiring audience.
