In Frame: December 10, 2019

Loving this shot taken by John Brighenti with a Sony ILCE-7RM2 camera. The low perspective gives a more dramatic effect to the shot, focusing on details that we may not have noticed otherwise. The light shines on the damp leaves scattered across the ground, freezing a moment in time. It is not hard to imagine oneself in the space as it reflects the cold and rainy winter season we are having. Thanks for sharing, John!

Don’t forget to submit your favorite images of the D.C. metro area to our 14th annual photography contest! The deadline for entries is December 12 at midnight.
