In Frame: September 25, 2019

September 25, 2019 By Katie Benz Leave a Comment

Photographed at the H Street Festival this past weekend, photographer Miki Jourdan has captured the emotions many of us feel when working out. The close-up portrait highlights the details of the subject’s face as we can see drops of sweat beading down her face. We can also see how tense the figure’s body is by the constriction of veins in both her neck and hands. Capturing this level of intensity really helps me as a viewer put myself into the experience of the subject. Thanks for sharing, Miki!

Join us for a collaboration happy hour with Focus on the Story tonight at Bar Deco from 6-8 p.m.!
