- Skate legends of The DC Wheels will be showing their best for all to photograph as part of the Mt Pleasant Block Party at Lamont Plaza on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Photographers can submit images to Lost Origins for review by a panel of judges, and winners will be announced Monday and will be featured in an exhibit in Spain this coming fall!

- Members of Black Women Photographers are invited to share one photo that tells the visual story of the spaces you occupy via Flickr by April 14 to apply for a grant that includes $5,000 for the recipient to grow their craft, as well as a two-year Flickr Pro membership, and a one-year SmugMug Pro membership.
