  • Jeff Bridges shares personal photos taken with a Widelux camera on film sets in his new book that came out this week.
  • Photographer and creative photo retoucher Jim Lind incorporates his pet cats into photos for his “Family Vacation” series. 
  • Falls Church Arts issued a call for artists for a fine art photography show to be held in their gallery in January 2020. The deadline for entries is Nov. 17.
  • Winners of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition were announced this week.
  • The DC Street Photography Collective will be hosting an event on November 20 at Slash Run with a presentation by NYC street photographer Reuben Radding and a critique. Tickets are $10.
  • Three photographers received awards as part of the Leica Women Foto Project to support personal projects relevant to today’s social and political climate.
