It’s showtime, people! The 7th annual DCist Exposed Photography Show will kick off with a pair of opening night receptions: Tuesday March 26 and Wednesday March 27, 2013 from 6 to 10 p.m. at
Long View Gallery. (The show runs through April 7.)
Advance tickets are now on sale right here, and are limited to 500 per evening to ensure that both artwork and people have plenty of room to breathe.
Your ticket not only gets you into this exhibit of 42 marvelous photographs from in and around the District of Columbia, but we’re delighted to let you know that patrons will be treated to a selection of beers from 3 Stars Brewing Company, including their Peppercorn Saison, Sea Change Pale Ale and Southern Belle Imperial Brown, and even some rarely available casks (more details on this later!). A range of delectable hors d’oeuvres from Farm to Feast Catering will be served, and complimentary wine will also be available. The musical stylings of perennial Exposed favorites DJ Sequoia and v:shal kanwar will once again keep your ears more than content.
A full-color exhibition program featuring all of this year’s photographs by local designer Johanna Ostrich will be on sale for $10 (available online now); we’ll again be offering the 5th Anniversary magazine for $25, or both publications at the gallery only for $30.
Tickets are just $10 and will be available until the morning of each opening or until we sell out (both nights last year sold out ahead of time.) A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $15, but advance ticket-holders will be given priority admission, and we’re limited to 500 people in the gallery at any given time. In case you missed our earlier announcement, check out the selection of wonderful images that will be on display.
So head on over to Ticketbud now and grab your tickets before they’re all gone!
