This stunning photo is definitely one that makes me sit back and ask, “Is that real?” Richard Barnhill caught this cold front (that is, for those who have forgotten, something that will be greeting us again viciously soon enough after this lovely autumn-like weekend) plowing through the sky over downtown D.C. in mid-November. The cloud wall is something else, but it’s the perfect twilight long exposure that makes this photograph sing. (View this one big.)
