For some reason the luggage trolleys make me think of robots huddling together. I love the way James Jackson uses the negative space above and below the clumped “androids” on the tarmac, which adds to the bionic nature of these inanimate carts. No, James this isn’t a sunny destination spot but, you did capture a great scene at the airport.
We have been following James Jackson (@thisisjamesj) for a while here at InstantDC. One of his photos is currently on display at our Fall Review show at the Washington School of Photography through October 31. His diversified style and quirky captions show his varied interests and artful eye. He has recently begun experimenting with film cameras, and we applaud the effort. His compositions keep improving as he continues to hone his vision taking photos around D.C. and beyond.
