Sunday, July 14 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Fathom Gallery Georgetown
This year, exhibiting photographer Mac Cosgrove-Davies will be hosting a special, one day only tintype demonstration at Fathom Gallery Georgetown during our annual photography show run. Love the look and feel of his exhibit photo?
You can get your very own 6″x8″ plate made during a 15-minute window. Ideal for one or two people but small groups of up to five may work. Please note that people will need to hold still for up to 10 seconds for the image not to be blurred by movement.
Appointments preferred; cost is $110 plus tax to cover materials.
THIS EVENT IS NOW CLOSED
Mac Cosgrove-Davies is an instructor at Glen Echo Photoworks, The Halide Project in Philadelphia, and the Frederick Book Arts Center in Maryland. Topics he covers include gum bichromate, oil printing, carbon printing, wet plate collodion, and “traditional” B&W printing.
